Service Disconnections to Resume for Past Due Customers September 2021
Governor Northam's State of Emergency for Virginia's COVID-19 ended on June 30, 2021. As a result, the residential utility disconnection moratorium ended August 29, 2021. The FCWSA will resume disconnecton (cut-off) of past due customers effective September 2021.
If your account is past due, you are at risk of having your water and sewer services disconnected. To avoid being disconnected, all past due amounts must be received by September 20, 2021. Once disconnected, you will be required to pay the full past due amount plus a $75.00 reconnection fee.
Payment plans are not available. However, the FCWSA still has CARES Act money available. For more information click here.
