Hydrant Survey Work Notice

Fauquier County Water and Sanitation Authority will be conducting hydrant flow testing, surveying, and mechanical hydrant servicing throughout the county over the next several weeks. Hydrant survey work is part of our ongoing maintenance program to help ensure hydrants remain operational and ready for emergency use. Customers may notice crews working at hydrants, temporary water discoloration, or brief changes in water pressure in nearby areas. If discoloration occurs, please run cold water from a bathtub or outside spigot until it clears before using hot water or doing laundry.
